- - - - - - - - THESE HALLS SEPARATE THE JUVENILE DELINQU- ENTS FROM THE REST OF THE CITY. SINCE ITS FO- UNDING IN 1989, NLBS HAS BEEN HOME TO THE A- RSONISTS AND PETTY THIEVES THAT HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THE ACT AND SENTENCED TO SPEND THE REST OF THEIR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS IN THE- SE WALLS. STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT NORMAL AC- ADEMICS AND HAVE ALL THE SAME PRIVILEGES AT SCHOOL AS ANY OTHER'S. ONLY THING THAT IS DIFFERENT, IS WELL, THEY HAVE TO LIVE AT T- HE SCHOOL, AND ARE ONLY ALLOWED OUT DUR- ING WEEKENDS, UNLESS THEY SNEAK OUT. WHI- CH HAPPENS MORE THAN YOU THINK.

USUALLY THE SCHOOL SHUTS ITS DOORS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR AND DOES N- OT ALLOW ANYMORE DELINQUENTS INTO ITS D- OORS. BUT SINCE THE DOWNFALL IN THE ECON- OMY, THE SCHOOL HAS BEEN FORCED TO KEEP THEIR DOORS OPEN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WI- TH THE NEW STUDENTS FILLING UP THE SCHOOL AND TAKING UP SPACE, WILL THE REGULARS OF THE SCHOOL BE ABLE TO MOVE OVER AND LET THEM IN? OR SHALL THEY STICK TO THEIR NAT- URE AND GIVE THEM A HARD TIME UNTIL THEY FIND THEM WORTHY ENOUGH TO BEFRIEND?
