let me explain;Well, let's see. I've about six foot two and weight a little over a hundred and sixty-nine pounds. I've got short, but nicely thick, light brown hair and my mother's nice hazel eyes. I've got a little bit of muscle tone and definition on me, but there are definitely people who are bulkier (is that a word?) than I am. No piercings, no tattoos. Never wanted any, never will. Unless I get blackout, piss drunk ... hopefully that won't happen. My style's pretty basic: I like my ripped, worn out jeans that I've had since high school; though I do buy a new pair every now-and-then. I've got basic shirts; some band tees but not much. Converse and boots'll do for shoes. Really, the only jewelry I wear is from my brother. A bracelet and a ring he gave me a few years back.

personality;Edward Theodore Potter is a man of differences. On first meeting, one might believe that Edward is a pit of a prick. He's not one of those people who rushes to the scene to start administering CPR or doesn't exactly volunteer at the soup kitchen every Saturday morning. Sure, Edward does tend to think about himself more than anyone else, and his brother is probably the only other person on the face of the Earth he gives a damn about. But he can be very loyal once he's your friend. He's not one to spread rumors or gossip, so you're secret is safe with him. He's not much of a talker, unless he's drunk, so getting answer out of him can be a challenge. He simply likes to get directly to the point. There's no wishy-washy answer with him and he doesn't skate around the point. He can be blunt, frank and he's always honest, even if you don't want to hear it.
Though, on the other hand, when caught in the right mood, he can be funny and charismatic. He still doesn't like to talk about himself, but is always eager to talk consistently about his little brother, whom he is immensely proud of. Edward's sense of humor is very dry and sarcastic and can seem mean to others. And, then of course, he does have a soft side. However it's rarely shown out in public and only appears when in the presence of his little brother, Jacob. Edward is actually quite smart but, again, along with his softer side, doesn't like to show it much. He's quite the history buff and had he applied himself more throughout school he could have well been a history teacher.

history;Edward Potter was born on Christmas Day thirty-one years ago. His parents, Jonathan and Emma were expecting there first child around the second or third day in January, but Edward simply wanted to crash the party early. His mother first began having contractions around eight that morning and by eleven o'clock that same evening, they were holding their first son. Edward got his name from his mother's father, who had died of lung cancer three months prior to his birth, and Theodore was from his parents love of Theodore Seville, the "green" brother from the television show "Alvin and the Chipmunks".
Three years later, little baby Jacob came along. Jonathan and Emma made good money, but they were not happy living in Bismark, North Dakota. At the age of six, the Potters found themselves in merry old England. Jonathan had been transfered to a firm in London, and decided that England was were they wanted to be. Edward soon found that he thrived in sports, mainly soccer and swimming. His brother on the other hand, found that learning was his passion. Even though the two boys were almost complete opposites, Edward was very protective of his little brother. They went everywhere together, did everything together, had no secrets from each other.
By the time Edward entered high school, he was known all around London and England as one of the best up-and-coming soccer players to watch for. High school life was fairly easily and smooth for him; as he was "one of those guys" that girls wanted to be with, and guys wanted to be friends with. His personality was slightly more friendly than it is today, as well. In his junior year, he met and fell madly in love with a girl named Zoe Laurence. They began dating about two weeks after they met and were considered the hottest couple in their school.
When Edward entered his senior year, his life was still perfect. He had been excepted to Oxford on a soccer scholarship, and he was still dating the love of his life, Zoe. However, after they returned from their winter break, Zoe told Edward that she was pregnant; the baby was his and she was keeping it. He was going to be a father at the age of seventeen. Unable to think, he fled from London. After a week of running, he found himself in Glasgow, Scotland. Calling his brother and telling him what had happened, Jacob tried to convince him to come back. He even went as far as to come to Glasgow to get him. By that time, however, he had tried out for the local soccer team there, hoping to start a new life in a new town where no one knew him. After several more months, it was Edward who convinced his little brother to go back to London and finish school.
It was almost four years later when Zoe and his past found him. Revealing that their child, who would have been a girl, had died in childbirth, as Zoe almost did as well. Telling him she didn't want anything from him, just the truth as to why he ran away, Edward did as he was asked. They tried to rekindle what they had had in high school, but they had simply grown apart. Zoe finally left Edward's life for good two years later when he was twenty-three. After Jacob graduated from high school, he came to Glasgow to be with Edward, finding a job as a newspaper editor while Edward made his way through the ranks of various Scottish and English soccer teams.
Nearly seven years later at the age of thirty, Edward was trying out for the Chelsea football team in England. Jacob had come along, who had always been Edward's "good luck charm". About thirty minutes into the trail, Edward landed on his left leg, his knee hitting directly on the hard ground. He was quickly rushed to the hospital, in the worst pain of his life and was operated on. After a lifetime of injuries to his knee, he knew that his professional soccer career was over. For several months after the accent, he was pretty much a bum.
Returning back to Scotland and living with, and off of, his brother. He heard about Sweat Academy in Australia and wasn't really interested in a teaching position. However, he knew that he needed money and he couldn't keep living off Jacob. So far, he's behaved himself. But who knows how long that will last?

Emmett stood with his arms at his side, listening to Malina calmly. Sure, he was being extremely calm about Rose's situation. But what else could he do, really? He wasn't smart like Carlisle or Jasper or even Edward. He wasn't even sure if he would be able to turn Rosalie back, should the need arise. But if Edward could save Bella, than he knew that somewhere inside of him he could too, no matter how corny and stupid that sounded. "As long as Rose's heart beats, or doesn't beat for that matter, and she's okay, than I know that tomorrow's another day, Malina." he said, not really sure how that would sound to her.[/blockquote]
"Carlisle is the smartest man I know. He'll think of something ... he'll figure it out ..." he said again, this time more unsure than his last statement. "Listen," he said, putting a sympathetic hand on her shoulder, "It probably doesn't make Daniel or Rose feel any better to see us worrying our little minds out. Maybe putting on a brave face is all we can offer them right now." he said, removing his hand and walking past her. Emmett was almost never this helpful; this sympathetic or caring. He didn't like to show his soft side, expect around Rosalie, but he didn't know what else to say to Malina, either.
However, replaying what he had just said to Malina over in his mind, he knew he was a hypocrite. He watched Rosalie like a hawk; he watched her eat, making sure that she eat everything that normal mortals needed in their diets, he watched her sleep, everything. In short, he treated her like a child. He figured Rose would one day loose it and yell at him for being so overprotective, but he could take the yelling. He couldn't take the other option. He was Rosalie's Monkey Man. Their really wasn't an Emmett without a Rosalie. "Yeah, well, what else is new?" he joked, returning to his old self again.
