juliette desrosiers ! when it's time to celebrate turning nineteen, you can trust juliette to rock it up with all your friends, SO BRING IT ON ! Juliette was ready, even if she was a little panicy about this party. It was a weird thing to say, but she was a little worried about this party, not because she was worried about someone vomiting all over the place, but she was worried there wouldn't be enough mini sandwiches and silly things like that. Today she had let Frederick have free reign with her car, allowing him to do what ever her wanted as long as he didn't trash the car, or get a scratch on it even, she was very protective of her car, even though she has never admitted to anyone it's actually her car, after all, a girl with a Cadillac convertible only meant one thing; she was looking for a hot rod boyfriend, and that definitely wasn't the case, in fact, she was looking for Jack to be her boyfriend, but first of all, she had to dump her current one that she didn't have the courage to do just yet. So, she had spent the whole day setting up this party, after all, it was Frederick's nineteenth, next year he would be a twenty year old so it was his last year as a teen, technically, so she wanted him to go out with a bang in a way. She had put streamers up for the party and had even got a baby photo of Frederick from his mother to put up for the party. She had spent all day doing this, she had even had a shower half an hour ago because of all the work she had put into it.
She finally sat herself down on the bed, trying to chill herself out before the guests arrived. She had told everyone to turn up early, not to get drunk before Frederick got there, but to just be able to shout surprise at him as he walked through the door. It was a surprise party after all and she knew Frederick would love this so much. He better love it, the amount of hard work she had put into this thing, she had even gone out and bought a new dress to go with her Hello Kitty party hat. No one else had to wear one of the hats, she just felt like she wanted to be special and wear on herself. She was beginning to fiddle with the bottom of the dress, maybe this dress was a little too short and if Brad did eventually turn up, he would moan about how short it was. In a way, she wished her own boyfriend wouldn't turn up because that meant she would be able to had drinking contests with the other guys because it was lady like and it certainly wasn't allowed because she wasn't allowed to get too drunk. She couldn't see the problem with her getting drunk, she just got a little happier and danced more than she would if she was sober, if anything it made her a little more social, which she needed as some people she didn't know were coming and she could be a little conscious around strangers sometimes.
There was one person she really hoped would be turning up tonight and that was Jack, for the pure fact she always had a fun time when he was around. Just thinking about him made her breath shallow and her heartbeat speed up, she couldn't believe the effect he had on her. She was sure that Jack made her feel the way a boyfriend was supposed to make you feel every time you saw them. She hadn't even seen Jack today and she was already feeling herself shake, in the good way of course. Oh, she loved him, her heart ached for him. call her a cliché if you will, but she was in love, there was no way avoiding that idea any more. She had tried to shake it last year when she was slowly getting the courage to ask him out herself, but she was too late, Brad asked her out. When Jack saw no interest in the fact she was going out with Brad, she assumed that he didn't love her back, but she was beginning to feel like she was very wrong. She didn't know what it was, but when she was Jack, she felt that electric, the connection you're supposed to her with 'the one' and it doesn't help that he was one of her best friends and she always went to him for help and the same for him, they were there for each other not matter what.
Standing to her feet, she took a quick glance of herself in the mirror. She was sober and nervous, she wanted this whole thing to be prefect because Frederick was a perfect friend and deserved the best party ever and she was hoping she could give that to him tonight, although she knew to make it perfect Mercedes would have to show up, she did tell her in person, dropping the hint right in front of her, but wasn't sure if she would turn up, she would just have to wait and find out. She brushed down the small flecks of dust that were on her dress and then look around the dorm, it was cleared and the space had been utilised well, she had placed the two beds on top of each other in the corner on their own, she knew Frederick would moan that he had no where to sleep, but she would help him sort it all out once the party was over, that's the kind of friend she was. Her feet turned into each other, just the natural way she stood and she watched the door, hoping that someone would be coming right now, she had told the guests to knock on the door that said 'Dick Boy Live Here' in rather large red spray painted letters so they knew it wasn't Frederick and then once Frederick was there, they would crank the music up to an eleven and crack open the beer and the party would commence. For now, she was just waiting for the first guest to arrive.

PARTY!

DANCING UP AND DOWNnow it's time to partyy ?- - - - - - - - - - Mellisa stared at herself in the mirror, the invitation in hand. She'd been invited to this nineteenth birthday and she didn't even know the guy. But, naturally, she could never say no to a party so she had decided to go. It was still yet to be seen whether this was a good idea or not. She had heard that there would be alcohol so she would just have to be careful. Make sure she didn't drink too much. Or better yet, don't drink any at all. She wouldn't want to go ruining anything and turning half the schools population against her. So yes, here she was stood in front of her mirror wondering what an earth she could wear. It said nothing about dressing smartly but she assumed that it was just generally accepted that you looked decent for partys. Especially it is was celeberating a guys last year as a teen. Running a hand through her hair she walked over to her wardrobe, digging around and rumaging through her draws. Eventually she setteled on some black skinny jeans and a light green and white checkered shirt with her black and pink converses.
She looked around her room. Now where the hell had that present gone. Shit. She wasn't sure what to buy the guy so she decided to do what she always did when she had no present ideas, guess. Well, actually she had done some research, found out he liked skateboards and taken the easy option and bought a skateboard for him. He'd probably get a load of them though so she'd bought a few packets of glow in the dark stars too. She'd come to the conclusion everyone liked glow in the dark stars just cause they were cool. She'd kept the reicpt though and was taking some money, just in case. She wasn't sure what else she was supposed to do.
Now she was dressed though and had found Fredricks present she was pretty much ready. She grabbed her purple clutchbag and shoved her keys and phone in there along with some cash, just in case. She walked out of her dorm making sure to lock it before leaving the building. "Ah shit, the invite." She sighed, realising she didn't have it. But, realizing she couldn't be bothered to turn round and go get it she just carried on walking. Now she was getting nervous. And she should be to. She was going to mess this up, she just knew she was. Something bad would happen. Just don't drink any alcohol. She told herself firmly, although she knew she probably would end up drinking.
When she reached the boys dorms she went and knocked on the door she remembered on the invitation. She stood there for a moment not sure if she was supposed to wait out here and just walk in. God, it had been a while since she had been this nervous. She took a deep breath and stayed stood out there, deciding to wait for someone to let her in. That was decidedly the safest bet really. It was the that or she ran now but that wasn't happening. Anyway, chances were Alessandro was probably going to come so at least she would know somebody.

PARTY!

aurelie rush ! standing on the rooftops, waiting til the bomb drops, everybody scream your heart out, scream your heart out. After the incident at the lake the other day, Aurelie Rush wasn’t so sure that she wanted to leave the safety of her dorm room, but Frederick’s party was today and she couldn’t not go. Though she knew that it was going to be exceptionally difficult for herself to manoeuvre across the floor without the use of crutches, Aurelie didn’t want to draw attention to herself - she’d be one of the very first people already in his dorm, awaiting his return from his mother’s house that evening. For now though, she was just in her room, wrestling with the shower, trying to wash her hair (with major difficulty) without getting her white cast wet. There was a groan and a sigh, followed by a small scream, before Aurelie realised she was losing the battle with the fierce shower. At least though, she had managed to rid her hair of almost all of the soap suds before giving in and turning the taps off. She would attempt it later, with the possible aide of her elder sister; Amelia. Leaning against the wall, Aurelie shoved a towel over her wet hair and picked up her crutches, leaning into them as she practically hopped into the main bedroom area to get changed out of her pyjamas. Earlier, she had carefully chosen an outfit (and done her make-up) to wear to Frederick’s nineteenth birthday bash, suitable of her injury, which was a definite given. The small, red head seated herself down on her bed and changed into a white tee with the words: ‘TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS.’ in black letters at the top, and an ‘evil teddy’ neon skirt with black ruffled material - jeans and shorts were a big no-no at the moment. She hoped that the bruise over her eye would be covered up by her hair and the large patch of gauze on her shoulder, covered up by her shirt; but not fully. Aurelie slipped into her shoes and left her dorm.
At least Frederick’s present had been brought a few weeks earlier and was now tucked away in her shoulder bag, as she hobbled down the hallway to where the party was at. Aurelie had wondered about getting his present, not too sure about exactly what to get him, but she had subtlety managed to wheedle that information out of him. The other week, whilst everyone was trying to work out what to get him, Aurelie had asked him a simple question: ‘don’t you think those skate shoes are a little old now?’ She had asked him after he’d tripped over the shoelaces on his skate shoes. To which he had replied: ‘yeah, but I’m saving my money for something big, so I can’t really afford to get a new pair.’ It was in that instant that Aurelie knew what to get him. Just the very next day did she wander into town to look at all the pretty skate shoes in his size; which incidentally, she had gotten from Juliette a few days earlier. Well, it took Aurelie quite a bit of time to find the perfect pair, and when she did, her money went on them; wrapping paper, a ribbon, a card, and, as a little joke, a toy fish; because she called him Fish and found it funny. Also in her bag were a few disposable camera’s, her contribution to the party food; a vegetarian dish, pocky sticks and tortilla chips. All in all, she had thought that this would be one of the best parties that she’d ever been to in her life as a rock star. Though she was still a little concerned about drawing unnecessary attention to herself, especially since Frederick and Jett had been unable to ride in the ambulance with her and did not know the full extent of her injuries from the incident. She would later thank them for finding her when they did, calling the paramedics, informing Juliette of what had happened, and then arguing with afore mentioned paramedics about their relationship with Aurelie - Jett insisting that she was his little sister.
A small, tired smile crossed her pale features as she continued slowly down the hall to Frederick’s dorm. It was supposed to be a surprise party, well actually it still was, she hoped that Frederick would be pleased with the whole thing. But then, what if the party had started already? What if they had forgotten she came home yesterday? Maybe her slow walking was melting her brain, but Aurelie was really worried about her friends at the moment, they were so close and if something happened to one of them, then the world would go to shit. Of course, that was Aurelie’s way of thinking so it wouldn’t be strictly true. Composing herself and calming herself down to some extent, the little red head attempted to quicken her pace but only succeeded in losing her balance and falling sideways into a door that was being opened from the inside. Fortunately, the person on the other side realised what was happening and intercepted Aurelie’s epic fall before the two of them ended up like oddly shaped pancakes on the floor. Setting her upright, and making sure she was stable before asking her if she needed any help (which she refused, politely), telling her to be careful and running off down the hall and falling out of the front door with a rather nasty sounding thud. The small seventeen year old shook her head and plodded down the hall, not really worrying about the stranger running into the front door, more worried in trying to get to Frederick’s dorm in one piece. Erm, well two pieces now that her leg was broken. Shattered… pieces. Finally, after what felt like several hundred hours, Aurelie reached her destination and opened the door, she stepped inside, smiling.
Looking around at all the decorations, courtesy of Juliette, Aurelie smiled a little more than she had done over these past few days. Hobbling over to where Juliette was standing, the red head positioned herself carefully against the wall and slipped her bag off of her shoulders. “Hey, Jules. I brought the tortilla chips, where do you want them?” She asked, momentarily forgetting that she was no longer able to stand (literally) on her own two feet, for a substantial amount of time. “And, Fish’s birthday present, too.” She added, in a slightly smaller voice when she realised her incapability. Shaking her hair out of her eyes, Aurelie took note of one other person in the room, she vaguely recognised her as the girl whom her cousin; Alessandro, had declared his love for, to her, but not the girl… yet. Her hair was pink with black and Aurelie was suddenly under the impression that the girl was like cotton candy with black fluff… maybe ‘off’ candy floss with a strange centre. If only she knew just how close to that description about her - especially when she was with Alessandro. After Juliette took her bag, Aurelie moved away from the wall and over to Frederick’s bed, where she sat herself down with both legs on his bed. The freshman looked around the room again and nodded her head in appreciation. “Fish is really going to love this. To bad we can’t give him Mercedes in a cake.” she mumbled, looking towards Juliette with a smile.
