AURELIE APRIL RUSH !well hey, hey baby it's never too late, pretty soon you won't remember a thing, and i can't stay, well you know i won't wait, i was gone from the very first day. my name is Aurelie april rush. i'm seventeen years of age, originally from nashville, tennessee, but newly located in perth where i attend the college there. my major is parkour and my minor is, well we don't have minors. i don't belong here, i don't belong anywhere. i'd say that i want to go home but then where would i go? i don't have a home. i've never really had a stable home and strangely i'm okay with that. i'm not too sure why i'm here.
Aurelie had to hand it to the man; he was pretty damn confusing and that was definitely saying something since Juliette and Jett were the most confusing people that she'd ever met in her life. However, when he spoke in Finnish; Frederick topped the list of 'confusing people of the world' and while she had attempted to translate it, it still didn't matter. Aurelie could not, for the life of her speak as much Finnish as she could French and English. Her translation of his language was way off course; though notably closer than another person could get; especially one who had no idea that Finnish was even a language. "Well, my translation was a little rusty, give a girl a break, fish." the red head joked with a little shake of her head. "I knew what you were saying," a small laugh escaped her pink tinged lips then she lowered her head a little and mumbled under her breath loudly; "I think." - it was only loud because she 'wanted' him to hear her say that. "Well, I speak French and so does Juliette and Jett; so we trump yo little ass, boi!"
Come to think of it, Aurelie wasn't so sure that a Penguin could trump a kitty; she'd gotten a tab bit confused there, it was meant to be the other way around - a kitty would eat a bird with no hesitation. Sitting there in silence for a few minutes, Aurelie thought about what was going on in her brain and decided that the Finnish had confused her as to the feeding chain of animals. In the animal kingdom, for a simple feeding chain it started off with the sun making the grass grow with the mud (or something) and then a worm feeding from the soil and stuff - a bird coming down and eating the worm then the bird and the worm being eaten by a kitty cat. Then she thought of something that would up the ante and prove that a penguin could indeed trump a kitty. "Well, a really bad penguin with a severe case of rabies - foaming at the mouth, untrimmed claws and sharpened flappers with a razor beak, would." She smiled with a triumphant nod of her head and then listened to him. "Yes, exactly, but not everyone knows that, silly." Aurelie shook her head a little and listened, again. "Psch, everyone knows a penguin is vicious." They weren't really, but little Aurelie was losing her touch and she needed something to redeem herself.
Placing her hand back over the bruise on her side, Aurelie nodded again, absently, assuring Frederick that she was perfectly fine; just a little pang of pain from moving too fast. She moved on quickly from it, not really wanting to push the matter any further because the situtation could end up getting out of control and she didn't really want that to happen. "Possibly, but does a circular cloud normally have brown spots on it?" she asked, squinting up at the cookie shaped cloud she had spotted moments earlier. "Oh, wait; I think those are birds." Taking a moment to register the fact that the brown spots on the clouds were actually birds, Aurelie then let out a loud laugh and looked up at Frederick. "Hey, what do you know! Even more proof that my penguin trumps your kitty!" the red head giggled a little more and ignored the rest of what Frederick was saying to her. "So, I win!" She had lost it, completely - then again, so had Frederick so, you know!

•we sense the danger but don't wanna give up,, Frederick knew he was a confusing person, and that's why he could never get the courage to ask Mercedes out, he was so scared of screwing it all up, stuttering on his words and ending up talking complete gibberish and mess it all up and she would never speak to him again. Either that or he would stand there and his hands would just sweat beyond belief and then he wouldn't even be able to speak or he would end up speaking Finnish and she would stand there completely perplexed and then he would run away and hide his head in shame so he wouldn't have to deal with the problems of being bullied for failing at asking her out. "Yeah, you had no idea what I was saying," he said still grinning. He didn't blame her, Finnish was a pretty hard language to learn and he knew it from all the people that told him so, of course he found it easy because it was the language he was raised on. "But I'll let you off as Finnish is pretty hard," he said with a little warm smile as he looked down at her. "Hey, that's just mean, you Frenchies can't gang up on me," he said with a little pout.
He listened to her rambling for a moment and raised an eyebrow. Sure, what she was saying was true, but kitty cats still won because they were pure awesomeness in a cute little cover. He was a cat lover, there was no two ways about it, he thought cats were really cool, especially Juliette's cat, that cat was just too adorable and really sweet. "But what if the kitty cat had a case rabies, the kitty would be even more vicious than the penguin and probably rip it's head off," he said with a little smile and a nod. He couldn't believe he was actually having this conversation, and it didn't help that this kid was as stubborn as hell, it was even worse when he was with Juliette, those two were two of the most stubborn people you would even meet so when they're put in a room together, that's it, you might as well forget because there will never be a definite winner unless one of them is killed, but because of their close friendship, they would never hurt each other, not in a million years. "And penguins are in no way vicious, they're too nice, well, they were to me," he said, of course referring to when he fed one at Perth Zoo.
Watching her closely, an eyebrow raised as he thought about the bruise, he was sure she wouldn't have got that from parkour. He knows it's a dangerous sport, but that bruise wasn't from playing sport, that was from having a fight, he should know, he used to blame his fighting bruises on skateboarding. He used to be a violent little thing at school because he didn't get any attention from his parents and his Papa Olaf had just died so he wanted someone to take note of him, and fighting was the only way he knew how to get it. He didn't want to press the matter because Aurelie was happy at the moment and that's all he really cared for; his friend's happiness. "I don't think seagulls and penguins are the same type of bird, let alone the fact that seagulls like, attack penguins and stuff," he said with a little chuckle as he looked down at her, shaking his head lightly. "So, I think my kitty cat still wins!" he exclaimed, a little over excited and just happy to be here.

Aurelie didn't understand it. Frederick was a great young man with amazing potential and the ability to talk to anyone and everyone he can, without being unconfident and getting nervous - yet, he could not, for the life of him, pluck up the courage and confidence he needed to ask the love of his life out. Mercedes. It was beyond her thinking as to why this was, but then again, it was in her thinking that she kind of understood where he was coming from, in the end. Well, that was confusing, and she should know. Frederick confused her on a daily basis, yet she understood the fundamentals of his time spent confusing people, he did it often enough. As did she, to be honest. "Well, at least I got somewhere and I was so close to understanding, but not really." Aurelie grinned back up at him and lifted her slender hand to her head, picking up a strand of her hair and twirling it around her fingers as their friendly banter continued through the day. "Thanks for letting me off, Fish." she giggled, feeling the need to punch him in the shoulder lightly, but not bothering to move to do so. "I'm sorry, but it already happened." The red head pouted back.
This usual speak was normal for the two of them, though more normal with the effects of Lucozade hanging between them. Unfortunately though... no, fortunately, Aurelie had not yet had her daily dose of Lucozade, so this was pretty scary. All this talk of vicious penguins and cats with rabies was kind of weird, no? Shouldn't come off as a suprise to you, but Aurelie and Frederick were always like this. Lucozade or no Lucozade. "Well, if the kitty cat had a case of rabies then I would have to give my Penguin an invisible shield to wield in front of him, so that his rabies didn't get even worse, pal." the red head giggled. Ah, how she loved talking about nothing in particular when she was around her friends. It made her feel normal and like she was welcome on the world. Nothing like how she felt when she was around a particularly nasty Mitchell. "Ah, but that is only a cover up for their real personalities. They only show you what they want to show you, but when your back is turned it's a whole new story; so you better watch your back, lad." This conversation was just getting weirder and weirder as the minutes passed. "Because you never know, they might be just like those psychotic penguins from Madagascaaaarrr."
Aurelie rolled her 'ar' to emphasise her point as she lowered the hand in her hair and rested it on the bruise on her side. She knew that there was supposed to be a confidentiality barrier between herself and her friends with what Mitchell did to her, but she also knew that lieing to her friends would effectively land her in heaps of trouble, more than she was already in. So, prehaps telling Frederick the truth about the bruise was a good idea. But then again, she knew what had happened the last time something like this had happened and thought that it was also a bad idea. Aurelie started to chew on her lip nervously as Frederick carried on the conversation about the cookie cloud and birds. Not really listening, the small freshman simply nodded her head and thought about telling him, some more. It would be for the best. Would it not? But... what if he wanted to hurt Mitchell right now? No, she wouldn't let him do that, he might end up getting hurt himself. The more she thought about it, the more worried she got and the harder she bit on her lip. There was a deafening silence other them now that the other conversation had ended. Aurelie swallowed her pride and looked up at Frederick with a haunted expression, green eyes already glistening with tears.
"I..." she started, chewing her lip, still. "Mitchell hit me."
